IDYA- A platform just for your ideas!
As an engineering student and a computer enthusiast, I always wondered what exactly can i do to make a difference. I always wanted to become an entrepreneur, coming up with my own idea and implementing it, but Just like others , I wasn't sure How to proceed or whether it can be a business, or is it really worth spending time and money.
Other day I was surfing on Internet, when I read this:
Isn't it fascinating to have a separate platform for your own ideas? Where you can share ideas, validate them, get investors and mentors for proceeding and what not?
The platform and the whole concept really impressed me but it couldn't resist asking myself WHY IDYA? It’s a hyper-competitive world where only the top player get all the value. You must grow fast or die a slow death.
For seeking the answers to my question, I approached Mr. Kunal Soni, Founder at SaYourIdeas and Idya and asked him about his vision towards the concept.

Adding on to Mr. Kunal I asked, Why should we put our ideas on an open platform? Is it really safe?
He added, “ Idya can be the best place for unbiased, neutral and frank opinions upon your ideas. Agreed, User can have insecurities for their Idea, but Idya doesn’t ask for the blueprints of innovations on the platform, just the problem statement and unique selling proposition for the idea. On the other hand knowing the pivots and improvements from the mentors of other ideas could also help to brainstorm and improvise your own idea.”
Soon after that I received an invite link from the Idya Team to sign up on their platform. I explored the website and found numerous ideas and suggestions on the portal just after some initials days of the deployment. The platform allows us to post the Problem Statement, Solution and Uniqueness in the ideas. Further there are Investors and Mentors for validating our ideas and help us proceeding forward with our Idea. I too came up with my Idea on the platform which was liked by some people on the platform and I was guided through for the betterment.
Later I was recruited as a Digital Marketing Intern at Idya. It was a whole new experience working there. The team treated me like family and It was nothing else but Learning all the journey.
My tenure at Idya was a roller coaster ride. Idya helped me to validate my idea by getting feedback from real time users from all over the world. Idya also helped me for getting connected with other ideators, mentors, investors, service providers, freelancers, and potential co-founders who may be interested now or in future for my idea. Adding, Idya gave me an opportunity as an Intern to contribute and learn new stuffs. I learned about Search Engine Optimization and lot more technical stuffs.
